Riesling Grand Cru Brand Turckheim 2003 13% ALC.(White)Dry, crisp with amazingly elegant minerality and citrus fruit. Brand is one of the 50 Alsatian Grand Crus, named after a fight between the sun and a dragon although no trace of this is left in the current wine.

Saint Joseph Cuvee du Papy 2004 13% ALC. (Red) *New*From the tiny Domaine du Monteillet in Northern Rhone comes this unbelievably fragrant and floral Syrah- violets and black pepper leap from the glass leading to a palate of subtlety and finesse- juicy and violet-infused elegance. It's completely unoaked too. Eye-wateringly rare but bloody good

Vinsobres Reserve "La Cadene"2000 13.5% ALC.(Red)Awesome. In fact it is very like a £20-£30 Chateauneuf du pape. Ranting & raving about the quality of this probably wont get you to buy it, but Ill try anyway. As good as it gets in red wine, will keep for decades if you can keep sticky paws off it, alternatively decant hours beforehand & drink with extremely lucky friends.
