The Dogwalk' represents the path that Neil Pike and faithful Labrador Bella walk morning and night - come rain, hail or shine - around the Cabernet and Merlot vines at Pikes Estate in the Polish Hill River sub region of the Clare Valley.

Concentrated aromas of blackcurrant / cassis, black cherry and dark chocolate with just a hint of some classy French oak showing. The wine has a rich palate that is awash with dark berries and chocolate held together nicely by good acidity and some lovely long, fine tannins. A little charry oak is also just detectable kicking in on the finish

A second generation wine family of veritable, enormous repute. They have 3 Robert Parker 99/100 scores under their belt & if you like parker-style wines then this is as good & cheap as they get. Big & tasty.
