Coriole Contour 4 Sangiovese/Shiraz 2005 14% ALC.(Red, screwtop) Mclaren Vale Taste superb right to the bottom of the second bottle (from experience in our house). The shiraz gives the sangiovese more fruit, the sangiovese gives the Shiraz more grip, finesse & tannin. Super, super wine.

Bremerton "Matilda" Cabernet/Shiraz 2005 14.5% ALC.(Red) Langhorne creek. A slightly more aproachable, easy-drinking style from Bremerton than their Tamblyn blend. Dare I say way-too easy-drinking. Matilda got fat by eating too many grapes (the family dog).

Trentham Estate Shiraz 2005 13.5% ALC.(Red, screwtop) Mildura, Victoria. Quote from J. Leiper, Deloitte "Mmmm. a taste sensation! The deep colour may intimidate a lesser man but if you're brave enough to stick your nose right in there you will be pleasantly surprised. A robust, buxom nose makes you think of the ribena blackcurrents on speed. Plus looking at the legs you know the intoxicating effect will match the strong aroma. So how does it taste? Imagine entertaining a young lady with a perfectly cooked tenderloin - well this is the perfect accompaniment. The full bodied, sultry, smoky flavour only fuels the flames of passion. It's a joy. Plus if she doesn't like the taste is will definitely get her pissed!"
