Royal Highland Show
Thursday 19th June - Sunday 22nd June, at the Food Hall, Royal Highland Showground, Ingilston, Edinburgh
We will be running short (2 white & 2 red) Tutored Tastings, every hour on the hour, starting at noon every day (last session starts at 4pm).
Each session will take around half an hour.

Tickets cost £45 a head. 4 fantastic courses (and coffee) cooked by reknowned chef, Richard Hewat (Ex-Fishers, ex-RBS Executive Chef), matched with gorgeous wines from yours truly, and off-the-cuff made-up wine chat now and again from super-Simon. Come down to this new bistro in the newly-refurbished Salisbury Hotel, already making a name for itself with tasty, fresh and insanely reasonably-priced Scottish/Mediterranean food (and great wine list!) Tickets cost £35 a head which gets you 7 courses, inspired wine matches and coffee. If it's a nice evening, we'll eat in the lovely, grassy walled garden (one of Edinburgh's best-kept secrets!). We run 2 levels of course
FOUNDATION , which covers some theory, wine tasting & wine/food matching. The cost (£75) includes a 30 question multiple-choice exam at the end to get your qualification (nothing too tricky!).
INTERMEDIATE , just wine (no food element) tasting & theory.
BOTH are run in the Grog Warehouse, 161 Bonnington Road, Edinburgh.
Next FOUNDATION is 20th Sept.
Next INTERMEDIATE is Sundays 8th & 15th June (Two day course, 11-3pm cost £140), please e-mail me to register interest.
