This wine is a cracking bargain. Do not be put off by the relatively humble price tag. It is extremely good value. If you think it is too cheap we can point you in the direction of someone that sells it a whole lot more expensively and gets away with it.
It has a very fine, balanced character. Extremely well made fizz from all three official Champagne grapes (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier in equal amounts) for a rounded, consistent, "non-sharp" style. It is Champagne at a price that all Champagne should be! 12.5% Alc.
Macon-Solutre-Pouilly Romanin 2018
100% Chardonnay. Chablis-esque in style, brilliant clean, fresh and fragrant, citrusy pink grapefruit and creamy texture.
There are 3 villages in this area in Southern Burgundy, namely Pouilly, Fuisse and Solutre. The vineyards that this wine comes from are from between the 1st and 3rd (unsuprisingly!). 13.0% Alc
Cotes du Rhone Vinsobres Chaume-Arnaud 2016
Youthful, Biodynamic, Organic & sustainable agriculture red from the Village of Vinsobres in the Southern Rhone. Grapes are Syrah (Shiraz) Grenache, Cinsault & Mourvedre. 14% Alc.
Phillipe & Valerie Chaume Arnaud make great wine. Drink now with red meats, rosted veg, spicy bean caserole, pies, you name it, as long as it is tasty! Alternatively, you could cellar for 10 years, yes, it is that good.
