We've been bringing this into the country for about 10 years now and it still rocks! Barrel-fermented Chardonnay from the South end of Burgundy. Big and smooth and full-bodied without being too hefty or flabby. It is NOT wine for casual drinking, it begs for some decent food. It is NOT NZ Sauvignon Blanc drinkers-fayre. More like a "red wine drinkers white wine" Citrus fruit, nuts and vanilla with a dollop of cream. A great wine.
