The McPherson family wine legacy dates back to 1968, the early days of the industry in New South Wales, when Jock McPherson began working in local wineries. In 1974 son Andrew joined the wine industry and in 1993 established vineyard holdings in the Murray Darling region near Mildura.
Since its beginning, McPherson Wines has been on an uncompromising quest for quality and a commitment to the very finest wine making techniques. Over the years the company has maintained the high standards of wine excellence the name McPherson has become synonymous with.
Described as “one of Australia’s most highly regarded young winemakers”, Jo Nash was appointed Chief Winemaker at McPherson Wines in 2011.
Her wines are already in receipt of numerous accolades including her MWC Shiraz Mourvedre 2013 listed as one of James Halliday’s Top 100 Wines of 2014, while Jo’s 2014 release wines have been awarded a total of 4 Trophies and 11 Gold Medals in major Australian Shows
