14.5 Paardeberg Swartland
Harvesting/Cellar:
This cultivar chosen because of its
affinity with the warmer climate
experienced on Doran Vineyards.
No crop control was applied, so
the crop was generous!
Fermentation:
Free run juice after crushing into
old French barrels. Malo-lactic
fermentation in barrels.
Maturation:
Wine left on its lees for 14 months
before bottling.
Winemaker’s notes:
A full bodied wine with a crisp and
lingering acidity. There is apple and
pear on the nose and is a well
rounded and integrated wine.
Certain to be a wow wine!
