ISLAND: Founded in 1995 at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran.
Inititally matured in traditional oak casks then finished in Amarone red wine casks from Veneto, Italy. Works brilliantly with Arran’s spirit, giving notes of turkish delight on the nose and honey drenched poached pears on the palate. Absolutely delicious.
Like all of Arran’s releases, this whisky is naturally coloured and free from chill-filtration, keeping all those mouth coating oils and delicious flavours in the bottle!
