BURGUNDY. Top end classy Premier Cru Chablis from the Montmains vineyard. Un-oaked with lees ageing creates an elegant texture. Fresh and lean with vibrant green fruit, a classic steely minerality combined with gooseberry and citrus acidity.
Montmains is one of the flagship 1er Cru vineyards in Chablis. It has southeast and northeast exposure, so gets more sun, but is open to the wind so colder than the other climats. These factors give it lots of ripening time, but the coldness brings later ripening….and great fruit.
