Description
BORDEAUX. 65% Sauvignon 35% Semillon from Entre-Deux-Mers (between two seas). Citrussy and floral with rose and passion fruit on a fleshy palate with a hint of refreshing acidity. Lees aging adds depth and a plump mouthfeel.
E-D-M sits between the Garonne and Dordogne, almost like an island. Despite only being allowed to grow reds in the PDO since 2023, there are more than 6 x the amount of red-grape producing vines than white. This is due to the red grapes going into the general Bordeaux Rouge AOC rather than anything more specific.
