Description
A lesser known gem from the McLaren Vale, Australian Fiano is still relatively unusual. A soft, floral, fruity number with fresh acidity, stone fruit, citrus, lemongrass and some herbacious fennel notes.
The bucolic Coriole winery is based in the prime McLaren Vale appelation, with vines going back to the 19th century. Founded in the 1960s and still family owned by the Lloyds, they specialise in bringing lesser-spotted varietals from the old world – Nero, Fiano – to the new.
