BAS-ARMAGNAC: Folle Blanche is a grape variety from the Armagnac area that almost disappeared, however Domaine Tariquet have been resusitating it since the 1980s and are now the largest growers. This spirit is made from 100% Folle Blanche, aged for 12 years in barrels and bottled at cask strength giving a complex, assertive spirit with aromas of orange, lemon and apple. The pallet offers flavours of candied pineapple, nutmeg, white pepper and citrus zest finishing with a hint of walnut.
