Description
A lovely juicy Chardonnay with a tiny amount of oak to keep the ABCs happy. Ripe and tropical with juicy peach and passionfruit. Dry and crisp on the finish.
The term ‘Another Bloody Chardonnay’ was first coined by the wine writer and sometimes wine merchant Terence ‘Tilly’ Tillerson at the inaugral New York Wine Challenge in 1973. After 6 rounds of En Primeur tasting, they were then tasked with tasting 106 different Californian Chardonnays over the afternoon. Tilly as a lover of Chardonnay had a wonderful time. At the bar afterwards, regaling the other exhausted judges, Tilly ordered ‘Another Bloody Chardonnay’ off the menu. The term has since been misunderstood ever since.
