Soft and mellow easy going Australian Merlot with vanilla plums. Bright, plush and deeply tasty, abundant in freshly picked red fruit with a soft tannic profile and a long, moreish finish. I’d buy 2 bottles as it’s very moreish!
It’s all in the name! A deliciously juicy Australian Merlot named in honour of Patrick the Wombat, whose story was know the world over by his army of facebook followers! Orphaned, beaten up by his wild wombat mates, taken in by Ballarat Wildlife Park, wheelbarrowed around (for weight reasons), he had a happy little life living for 10 years past expectancy before he died in 2016 aged 31.
