TOMATIN: The latest edition of Cu Bocan Creation series, featuring a little more out there cask and grain selections. Cu Bocan is Tomatin’s lightly peated range, distilled in small batches every winter. For Creation #8, the whisky has been aged in Ice Wine and Verdejo casks – pretty unusual mix and some lesser spotted wines for aging whisky! Subtle smoke and surprising perceptual sweetness, with fruit salad, soft oak spice and a touch of herbaciousness.
