PUGLIA. Classic example of this top quality Italian grape. Full, fruity and fresh with some nice weight of tropical fruit and a touch of bitter almond.
RIOJA BAGORDI BLANCO, SPAIN
RIOJA. 50/50 Garncha Blanca/Sauvignon make up the blend in this zingy, easy drinking organic wine.
FALSE BAY ‘SLOW’ CHENIN BLANC, SOUTH AFRICA
COASTAL REGION. A slow ferment using wild yeasts give this wine a distinctive herbal, savoury character with gorgeous texture.
PRINCIPE DI VIANA GARNACHA, SPAIN
NAVARRA. This is a great example of how juicy, smooth, tasty and red -fruited Grenache can be. It’s also just been selected among Spain’s 100 Best Wines Prowein 2018.
PRIMITIVO APPASSIMENTO CARLOMAGNO, ITALY
PUGLIA. Big, juicy wine which has been beefed up by the addition of some Appassimento (partially dried) grapes. Rich and ripe with bags of sweet fruit and vanilla from oak ageing.
JAIS NOIR ALO CARIGNAN, FRANCE
COTE CATALANES. Deep coloured and intensely flavoured but with soft delicate tannins, this is definitely one to curl up on the sofa with.
