Description
PUGLIA, ITALY: Full, fruity and ripe wine with bags of tropical fruit, melon, zesty lime and grapefruit. Well balanced, intense and long flavoured. From the The Salento Peninsula, in the province of Brindisi, vines are trained using the Spalliera method with a spurred cordon. Grape picking is carried out at night to preserve freshness. The wine is fermented in stainless steel with no oak, but it is left in contact with the lees (dead yeast) for 3 months to give it more texture and a bit of creamy richness.
