MONTALCINO, ITALY: Rosso di Montalcino Col di Lamo is 100% Sangiovese organically farmed from 9.5 hectares in the famed territory of Montalcino. Fresh spiciness and subtle balsamic notes. On the palate it is dynamic and vibrant, stimulated by juicy acidity and gentle and elegant tannins. Matured for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels to continue the refinement in the bottle for about 3 months. Giovanna Neri, who graduated in Law, got her passion for winemaking from her father and is now one of the most successful and valued producers in the region.
